International Partnership: Universidad Evangélica del Paraguay Signs Cooperation Agreement with Hochschule Liebenzell in Germany
The Campus Gutenberg and Campus IBA of the Universidad Evangélica del Paraguay (UEP) have signed a significant cooperation agreement with the Internationale Hochschule Liebenzell (IHL) in Germany. This partnership aims to strengthen international student exchange, opening new academic and cultural opportunities for students at both institutions.
A Strategic Step Toward Internationalization
This agreement aligns with Campus Gutenberg’s vision of building a network of strategic international alliances, designed to offer students academic mobility experiences ranging from a few months to full academic years. The initiative is grounded in the belief that cross-cultural experiences broaden personal and professional horizons, producing more competent graduates with global perspectives and greater impact.
Meanwhile, Campus IBA, with over 60 years of experience in theological training from an Anabaptist worldview, has shown remarkable growth in recent years, positioning itself among the top theological seminaries in Latin America. Its commitment to international engagement is reflected in initiatives such as:
- academic exchange and study trips to other countries,
- the use of the DMI (Disciple Who Multiplies Internationally) method in evangelism,
- participation in international conferences,
- hosting international students (including from Liebenzell),
- and welcoming guest lecturers from various countries.
About Internationale Hochschule Liebenzell (IHL)
IHL is a private, state-recognized university located in Bad Liebenzell, in Germany’s Black Forest region. Founded in 2011 from the historic Liebenzeller Mission seminary, IHL has become a dynamic hub for evangelical theological education in Europe.
With around 320 students, the university offers programs with a strong practical, intercultural, and missional orientation. Its degree offerings include:
